managing weight gain during the holidays

With the Christmas season upon us, invariably amongst the festivities the waistline gets stretched with endless treats and availability of time for training. Though it is common to say “resist” temptation of yet another special family recipe, the more realistic course is to plan how to avoid common pratfalls.

 

The six-week period leading through New Year’s is likely the most problematic period of the year when it comes to general health and fitness. Loaded with family and work responsibilities, there never seems to be enough time and it is very easy to put exercise and a healthy diet on hold, which of-course leads to knee-jerk reaction of the annual weight loss resolution.
