On March 27 and 28, 2010, Doug Carroll Baseball Academy is hosting a Baseball Strength and Conditioning Clinic with Hordon Health and Renegade International.

Headlining the clinic will be John Davies, founder of Renegade International and author of the notarized baseball strength and conditioning book "Diamonds."

Offered will be two sessions dedicated to Strength and Conditioning of the base and rotational axis, those most important to baseball, and aimed at both players and coaches. Players will participate.

One session will be dedicated to arm preservation. Shoulder injury in baseball can be devastating and Renegade offers the "Healthy Thrower Certification" for parents and coaches on how to keep your kids arms healthy and strong. Both players and coaches can participate.

The last session is the Sponsored Renegade Baseball Specialization Certification. This class is not open to the public for a Renegade Certification, but is open to players and coaches for yet another opportunity to elevate your baseball knowledge to elite levels.

THE BASEBALL BASELINE: Ages 12 & Up

This clinic, directed at baseball athletes looking for the edge, teaches the student how to condition the lower half as the strong base on which to rotate. Strengthening the Posterior Chain, Legs, and Linear Trunk.

HEALTHY THROWER CERTIFICATION:

Certifications available for coaches and parents ages 18 & Up. Ages 12 & Up are Welcome to Attend.

Covering PRE-habilitation for shoulder health in throwers, Renegade offers a certification exploring the muscles, range of motion, and exercised that are revolutionizing throwers' arm strength. Learn "DMC for Throwers," correct baseball warm-ups, and proper static stretching and dynamic flexibility.
